The Bristol Farmers Market Board of Directors approved the vendors for the 2025 season at a recent Board meeting. Please be sure to patronize these vendors when you visit the market this year. They will be offering fresh seasonal produce, cheese, eggs, meat, soap, candles, maple sugar products, craft beer, craft spirits, breads, baked goods, gourmet cookies, black garlic, and sweet desserts and treats.

The Bristol Farmers Market is looking to hire a SNAP/EBT Coordinator for the 2025 market season. The Bristol Farmers Market is an authorized SNAP farmers market that allows Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) recipients to receive a dollar-for-dollar match of up to $40 per week to purchase SNAP eligible foods. The person in this role will interact with customers at the market to facilitate this program.
The job will take place rain or shine at 10 Main Street Saturdays, June 21-October 4, 2025 from 10 am to 1:30 pm (4.5 hours for 16 weeks). There will be an additional 1 hour per week of offsite administrative work involving record keeping and working directly with the Treasurer, for a total of 5.5 hours per week. The hourly rate is $20/hour and will be paid weekly.

Vendor applications are now being accepted until May 2, 2025. The Bristol Farmers Market is a CT-Grown farmers market which means that all vendors’ products must be grown or produced in Connecticut. Farms, bakers with a Cottage Food license, those that sell honey, maple syrup, natural health products, and other healthy consumables along with breweries and distilleries are welcome to apply to become a vendor for the 2025 season.
In addition, The Bristol Farmers Market invites community members to become volunteers to assist with set up, managing the market, and break down of the market on Saturdays. The Bristol Farmers Market Board of Directors is pleased to announce that the market will once again be held in the parking lot of 10 Main Street. The 2025 season will begin on June 21, 2025 and will be held every Saturday, rain or shine, until October 4, 2025 10 am to 1 pm.
